Exit: If you purchase a fresh Christmas tree, please wrap it in a blanket or plastic bag when you bring it out of your apartment. Doing so will keep pine needles off of the floor and out of your carpet.
Disposal: Residents are responsible for the disposal of their trees. Do not dispose of your tree in or near the compactor. Residents can recycle their trees by dropping them off at one of eighteen, free drop-off recycling sites, located throughout Houston. The program runs from December 26, to second Monday (start counting Mondays AFTER New Year's Day) in January.
