Meet Spade! He is a five-year-old cat we adopted three years ago, and his dog-like personality has earned him the nickname cat-dog. The moment you walk through the door, he flops onto his back with his belly up, ready for rubs, which makes me think he was fostered in a home with dogs. Unlike the typical distant cat stereotype, Spade loves being petted and cuddled and is an incredibly affectionate companion.
