How to Properly Dispose of Your Fresh Christmas Tree

Exit: If you purchased a fresh Christmas tree, please wrap it in a blanket or plastic bag when you bring it out of your apartment. Doing so will keep pine needles off of the floor and out of your carpet.

Disposal: Residents are responsible for the disposal of their trees. You may dispose of your tree in the dumpster. However, do not leave your tree next to the dumpster.

You can recycle your tree at the Bunker Hills compost site located at 13285 Hanson Boulevard in Coon Rapids.
