How to Properly Dispose of Your Fresh Christmas Tree

Exit: If you purchased a fresh Christmas tree, please wrap it in a blanket or plastic bag when you bring it out of your apartment. Doing so will keep pine needles off of the floor and out of your carpet.

Disposal: Residents are responsible for the disposal of their trees. Do not dispose of your tree in the trash compactor or anywhere onsite. The local Home Depot will have a recycling chipper during the holidays to dispose of fresh trees. Residents found in violation will receive a trash removal fee.
