How to Properly Dispose of Your Fresh Christmas Tree

Exit: If you purchased a fresh Christmas tree, please wrap it in a blanket or plastic bag when you bring it out of your apartment. Doing so will keep pine needles off of the floor and out of your carpet.

Disposal: Residents are responsible for the disposal of their trees. Do not dispose of your tree in our dumpsters. You may recycle your tree at Olmsted County Compost
